this is horrible. and he keeps saying sorry for it? you can’t hit a girl, call her fat and expect her to forgive you just by saying sorry! i guess if you’re in a relationship like that, you really have no choice. people like this, do not deserve to be in relationships at all..

It’s exactly how it starts and it’s hard to see at first, then before you know it, you get used to the daily and nightly beatings, no sleep allowed, rapes, absolute control and you see your entire life is no longer your own. I hope my ex husband rots in Hell for putting me through three years of that crap, but I survived!
If i saw that happen randomly, like a guy beating a girl, I’d just walk up to him, and head him in the face
This is very effective, it shows all the stages of abuse – the manipulation, the control, the mood swings and fake apologies, the blame game…sad to think how many people this happens to.
Here’s the thing. There shouldn’t be any abuse in the FIRST place- A real man doesn’t hit a woman. Ever. Neither does a real woman hit a man. Ever. Abuse doesn’t only happen to women. I encourage the victims to take charge of their life and stick up for themselves by reaching out to someone. It’s never a good idea to take things into your own hands against someone who has such explosive anger. Call the police. No matter who you are or what you’ve done – you are worth loving.

Well done. The guy did a good job showing the subtle escalation. Unlike many PSAs I’ve seen where the abuser plays a stock-character snarling movie villian, this one seemed more realistic.
