I have been single for 2 half years and my friends say i’m stunning but i only ever get guys that i don’t fancy or don’t have anything in common with. I’m shy so find it hard to open up, i always go for bad lads which i want to get away from. I felt the same way you did. I always thought online dating sites were kind of sleezy and desperate. I eventually was talked into it (I reluctantly did it). Match.com was eh…I met a couple of people who completely lied in their picture in terms of what they looked like. I actually stumbled upon Yahoo’s dating website and found my current girlfriend through there (she’s 25..close to your age). We’ve been dating for 4 months and she’s great. She actually said two of her friends (both girls) met their current fiances from Yahoo’s dating website as well. Worth a shot. Of course normal people use dating sites. Well I guess depending on which ones you try. You’ll find many attractive, funny, smart, etc people on sites such as eharmony and match.com. It can fun. You should definitely try it. There isn’t anything sad or sleezy about them. As you get older, its tougher to meet people. Some people don’t want to have to go to bars and clubs to meet people.
