I just got divorced and now starting to look for love again..I go to what I think are the better dating sites and find that most (97%) of the ladies thats Caucasian will date all or most races but Black!!! Now why is that?

It’s a personal choice of people, who they’re interested in or attracted to. I don’t think it racial, just a matter of what may make their heart beat a little faster! I’m attracted to a certain athletic-build, latin-looking man…I’m not attracted to blonde, surfer types for example. It’s all individual, thank God. Could you imagine if women , or men were attracted to only blonde & blue eyes? There would be a lot of lonely people out there! There’s someone for everyone, you’ve just got to keep looking!
Because we live in a racist society and intermarriage/ inter-dating is generally frowned upon–it’s not logical, but it’s a fact in our culture.
If you just got divorced, you need to be taking the time for YOU to readjust to life, grieve your losses and make plans and goals for your future. Divorce is a very big deal and emotionally, most people have nothing to give to a new relationship for at least a year.
That doesn’t mean you can’t casually date, or socialize with friends.
Don’t jump from the frying pan into the fire. Take time OUT for you. Why jump right back into another relationship when you just came out of a bad one? If you do, you are “rebounding” and believe me, it normally doesn’t work out.

I’m not sure…. I don’t understand women like that myself as I am a white woman married to a black man.
My guess is that they are tired of being a Social Status Symbol and want a true relationship.
It’s not the skin color that turns them off… it’s the culture.
Just a cultural thing for whatever type of women youre looking for…Im a caucasian male but I go through the same thing…I come from a poorer neighborhood and all the girls there (even the white ones) come out and say “I don’t date white guys”…You must just be looking for the wrong types, I’m not gonna find many urban poor girls that like white guys the same way you arent going to find many suburban white women that like black guys. Just try to expand your search to all areas. No, Im not trying to tell you go get a hood rat lol, but just look everywhere.

For the most part, its not a racist thing–they’ll date whoever they’re attracted to.
Because of the social stigma attached to it…some people are just plain ignorant and immature or don’t want to go through others staring at them. Also, it’s been said that black women really dislike their white sisters dating “their men”. There is pressure from family & society to stay within ones own race.
I am married now, but, back in the day, it was believed that many black men cheat, or flirt even if taken, or drink too much… 2 black men that I came accross that were interested in me both had fiancee’s but didn’t tell me right away… so that proved my point… cheat… so that was that…
Personally, I am not attracted to black men. I am certainly not racist, I have many friends of varying ethnicity. For some reason I just have never met a black man who turned me on. And for me personally, physical attraction is a major necessity in serious relationships. Everyone has different “types” that they are attracted to, be it hair color or body type or whatever. It has nothing to do with judging a person’s character.
