I have been looking over online profiles and see that some women who haven’t been married yet don’t want a guy who has been through a divorce. I am 34 now and was married at 24 and divorced at 26. I am filling out an online profile now and don’t know if I am to say that I am divorced or single since it was quite a few years ago. help here?

I just started dating someone who I have known for over two years through work. He is a programming contractor where I used to work. When he heard me no longer work there, he asked me out for a date. At the end of the first date, he gave me a hug and tried to kiss me, but I turned my head away since I wasn’t ready for a kiss yet. He said he had waited for two years. The next day, he asked me out for lunch before he headed back home (he lives 2-1/2 hrs. away). At the end of the lunch, he told me until he got his first kiss, he is keeping his match.com profile. I liked him and was attracted to him, but now I felt he is kind of pushy and tried to rush things when I want to take my time since I just left my ex-boyfriend of 10 months because he was a total liar. I will be seeing him again soon, the 3rd date, what should I do if he try to kiss me again, which I’m sure he will. I don’t want to ruin the chance with him, but then I wasn’t ready for the kiss. Pushy personality is kind of a turn-off for me. Please advise. I want to get on a dating site that I have been on before and would like to say something about past relationship. I wanted to say something like this ” Recently was in a realtionship for a year and he had even proposed marriage but since realtionship was long distance I was not ready to move there and I now feel I am ready to try this online thing again. Me and my boyfriend have broken up over trust issues and restarted our relationship again recently. One of the many lies to me was his use of porn, he knew it made me insecure so told me he’d stop. I caught him so many times back then continuing to watch it. He even went out and bought a new adult video to spite me when we fought. Then said he didn’t get a chance to watch it and he’d throw it out. who even knows if he did. anyway, i came across a profile he created for himself saying he was into certain sorts of bondage and fetish play. I’ve always told him i wanted to try new things like that and he said that was gross and you only do stuff like that with people you don’t respect. He clearly doesn’t respect me if he can lie and hurt me. Along with his interest in fetish that i didn’t know about, he also listed voyeurism, which is the peeping tom sort of thing.kinda perverted. I don’t know if he made this profile while we were apart, but still these kinda secrets bother me.any advice? I have had one night stands but never any girlfriends. Im home from the army working full time not alot of time dating. All my friends have moved away and have girlfriends or have families of there own. Im trying the online dating thing but not alot of hits on my profile. I dont have a picture on my profile cause im afraid one of my old friends might see it and laugh. Im very quiet and shy so i dont know what to do. I have tried everything possible I did the through friends asking, blind dates, and gone to bars and clubs I even did a dating show once and got turned down everywhere I go. I am starting to think some people are meant to be alone. I am about to just give up on love 24 and never had a girlfriend is pretty bad. Please just serious answers please. |
